AH Seafire conversion files
(http://files.netwings.org/files/cfs2_planes/other/AH_Seafire_conversion_files/ah_seafire_folder.zip)
|
Hi all, This is an attempt to make the FS2002 Seafires from AH flyable in CFS2. The a/c cfg file has been modded to stop the undercarraige from bouncing about and the static positioning has been corrected. The textures for some of the versions need converting with Martin Wright@s DXTbmp program and the model is converted as in Dbolts tutorial. The animation works including the folding wings, In my install they work with Shift & F and the arrester hook with Shift & G Copy the texture file into all the texture folders as this will correct the opaque glass. The MDL file goes you know where and the rest of the files as labelled. The Airfile and Dp(With a little modding from myself)are from Martin Wright and Marc Siegel's Seafire MKIII.You will need the Weapons pack for this a/c to get the dp to work correctly. Please note i have only included the conversion for the MKIII and not the MKIIc due to size.
Many thanks to Martin Wright, Marc Siegel, Bazzar and the rest of the Aeroplane Heaven team for giving permission to release this a/c for CFS2. Good Hunting

Potez Po-63.11 for CFS3
(http://files.netwings.org/files/cfs3_planes/other/Potez_Po-63.11_for_CFS3/sz_po6311_10.zip)
|
Designed in the same vein as the Bf-110 and Fokker G.1, the Po-63 series was France's all-purpose multi-engine aircraft. Variations included heavy fighter (Po-631), light bomber (Po-633), and army-cooperation / reconnaissance (Po-637 and Po-63.11).
The Po-63.11 was the most numerous of all Po-63 variants. Over 200 were deployed by May 10, 1940 making it the second most numerous aircraft in France's Armee de l'Air. Unlike most Po-63 models, this version was distinguished by its 'greenhouse' nose, which was occupied by an observer / bombardier.
Relatively agile and modern, the Po-63.11 was underpowered, underarmed, and certainly no match for single-engine fighters. Many pilots resorted to hedge-hopping tactics. Losses were high during the Battle of France, partly as airfields were captured. However, production continued following occupation. The Po-63.11 served in the Vichy air force and they were also used by Germany and Rumania.
Model by Craig "Viso" Murray. Textures by Nigel Dickinson. This is one of several aircraft created for the Battle of France Campaign for CFS3. Please refer to the installation instructions for additonal requirements, notably my French Weapons package, French Gauges package, the Nationality Expansion Kit, and the AvHistory Gun/Weapons pack. Liore et Olivier LeO-451 for CFS3
(http://files.netwings.org/files/cfs3_planes/other/Liore_et_Olivier_LeO-451_for_CFS3/sz_leo451_10.zip)
|
The LeO-451 was France's most famous bomber of WWII. Entering service in early 1940, it played a major role during the Battle of France and continued to serve with the Vichy air force. This model reflects the 1940-verion, with 'stair-step' vertical fins. Later versions had rounded vertical fins.
The LeO-451 was designed to rectify the disastrous "BCR" program, which was based on Douhet's concept of multi-engine strategic bombers that would perform a variety of roles. Unlike earlier French designs, such as the Amiot 140, Bloch 200, and Farman 222, the LeO-451 was designed as a fast, medium bomber and it was well suited for its intended role.
This version is released as AI-only. It does not include complete virtual cockpits and is not meant to be flown. It is intended for use with the Battle of France campaign. To support campaign spawns, it's nationality has been set to "USA". However, alternate AIR files are enclosed to permit limited flyability and alternate XDP files to support upgraded defensive armament.
Original model by Stephan Seybolt. External textures by Philippe Gensou. Damage and MOS files by Nigel Dickinson. This is one of several aircraft created for the Battle of France Campaign for CFS3. Please refer to the installation instructions for additonal requirements, notably my French Weapons package and the AvHistory Gun/Weapons pack.
