In your Bell P-400 Airacobra take off from Betio Island airbase and join the carrier- based Grumman TBF-1C Avengers on their torpedo mission against the Japanese IJN Zuikaku CV and at the same time intercept the Japanese Nakajima B5N2 Kate torpedo bombers and prevent them from reaching their target USS Intrepid CV11. However, look out for carrier-based Japanese Zeros providing fighter support for the Kates! For mission complete land on Betio Island airbase.

Whispering_Death (http://files.netwings.org/files/PacificFighters/Missions/Whispering_Death/Whispering_Death.zip)
To the Japanese, the Beaufighter became known as "The Whispering Death" which gives some idea of the speed at which one could appear, strike and turn for home. Hence the name of the mission.
Take off from Sagari field , New Guinea ; attack Axis columns with your cannons and machine guns (check the map for bearings) and cut their escape routes by firing rockets at the two bridges ahead. Expect some fighter support from the Seafires on HMS Illustrious against the Zeros patrolling the area. For Mission Complete you will have to destroy 25 % of the columns, the two bridges and finally land at Sagari Field.

Young lions: Number 101 Squadron, Israel, 1948

Campaign by EAF602Whizz

E-Mail: williampryce@supanet.com

A campaign for the Israeli Air Force during the wars of survival that took place in 1948 and 1949.

You must have Forgotten Battles and Pacific Fighters installed in order to use this campaign.

In this campaign you get the chance to fly as a volunteer with the famous Number 101 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force. The campaign offers you the chance to fly the Me109G-14 (Avia S-199 Mezek), the Spitfire MkIX and the P51D Mustang all of which were used by the squadron during this period of its history. The missions are based on the books ‘Fighters Over Israel’ by Lon Nordeen and Osprey Aircraft of the Aces: Arab-Israeli Air Wars 1948-1982 by Shlomo Aloni.

I have included in the download a number of skins by artists who have posted on Il2Skins.com and I would like to express my gratitude and admiration for their excellent work.

Out_of_the_blue (http://files.netwings.org/files/PacificFighters/Missions/Out_of_the_blue/Out_of_the_blue.zip)
There is a foreboding in the air: a lull before the storm, midday at Midway, abruptly interrupted by not so distant rumble of engines! In your F4U-1D scramble from USS Saratoga, before it's too late! Kamikazes head the first wave, the carrier-borne Japanese fighters scramble from IJN Akagi in the second wave to finish off the possible survivors. Make sure you will survive and for mission complete land on USS Lexington , USS Essex or USS Saratoga or in case they don't exist any more (highly unlikely) you can also land on Eastern Island Airbase.

Pacific Island Combat (http://files.netwings.org/files/PacificFighters/Missions/Pacific_Island_Combat/IslandCombat1.zip)
Lynnon Bullman AKA Beowolff

This coop mission is for IL2/FB/Aces/PF only.

This mission attempts to portray the savage, forgotten (backwater) island combat between Allied and Japanese air forces during the WW2 Pacific Island theater. Both carrier launch and base launch are included (both sides) though the bases are homemade and any AI aircraft must default to the carriers.

Both ground attack (Allied forces) and air combat (both Allied and Japanese) are included in the mission. Good Luck.
