_Mission_Pack/i16span2.jpg) SPANISH CIVIL WAR (SCW) MISSION PACK
DEDICATED to the CESS-PATROL (who are a rag-tag, independent bunch, probably much like the international volunteers who joined the Republicans in the SCW!) These five missions attempt to recreate the flavour of air combat in the Spanish Civil War in central Spain during the 1936-1939 time frame. Flyable planes: I-153, I-16, Bf-109E, He-111, Ju-87. Ten skins included (2.4 megs).

1942 - Dieppe v2
(http://files.netwings.org/files/fb_missions/1942_-_Dieppe_v2/il2fbdi2.zip)
|
1942 - Dieppe (Co-op Tankbusting Mission) The ill-fated Canadian "raid" to test the German Atlantic defences. Bad planning, bad luck and fierce German resistance doomed the attack. A thousand Canadians died and 2000 were forced to surrender. You will fly either a Hurricane MkIIc tankbuster trying to blunt the movement of German armour to the beachhead, or you will pilot a Bf-109G2 to provide air cover for the forces trying to repel the seaborne attackers. All starts are air starts and the action starts quickly. Hurricanes *must* attack the armour and avoid air-to-air battle if at all possible.

 Co-op Mission - 1945 - Berlin Last Stand
An American fighter-bomber strike wings in low from the sunset toward the Schonefeld airfield in South Berlin. FW-190D's and two He-162s with only fuel vapour in their tanks come from the centre and north of the city in a last-ditch effort to stem the tide.

Pacific 1942 Japanese Airstrike

Pacific 1942 Japanese Airstrike
Description
A co-op mission also playable by a single player.
Eight Japanese "ersatz" Betty bombers (DB-3Fs) from South Island, escorted by 8 Zeros, make a raid on a British airfield on North Island, defended by 12 Buffaloes.
Primary task for the Buffaloes --- shoot down the bombers or make them jettison their bombs. Japanese side wins if 25% damage is done to the airfield. (In a game flown strictly by the AIs, the 25% level is quite achievable, so human Buffalo pilots will have to work hard to prevent it.)
A static camera is provided on the British airfield to check bombing results.

Spanish Civil War (SCW) Mission 6

|
SCW6 Co-op Mission --- Spanish Civil War 6 Republican Ground Attack *** NOT Suitable for one player *** You must have the SCW Pack installed to get the proper skins. This is not a stand-alone co-op mission. It is not suitable for one player because rocket-armed AI I-153's will not attack the Airfield. They MUST have human pilots. ***

Pacific Low Level B-17 Bomb Run. This is a straightforward co-op mission that can be used by a single player as well. Four B-17s and four P-39Ns make a bomb run on a Japanese island defended by 7 Zeros. This is a first try at using the RC updates.

Co-op Mission - 1945 - Berlin Last Stand II
The Russian steamroller is probing Berlin's last lines of defense. A morning VVS air strike of IL2's, with a close escort of P-39Qs and a top escort of La-7s, is tasked with wiping out some of the Luftwaffe's last reserves at a South Berlin airfield.
Me262s and FW-190A9s are scrambled from other Berlin airfields to protect the target field. They are low on fuel and short on time.

Pacific Coastal Convoy Attack... by Jonny_C
This is a co-op mission, also playable by a single player.
Four P-39s from North Island attack a South Island coastal convoy with bombs and cannon fire. Four P-40s also take off from North Island to take on five Zeros head-on and try to delay their attack on the P-39 fighter-bombers.

Pacific 1945 Dogfight
Eight American P-51s vs eight Japanese Ki-84s. Grab one and slug it out. Get too close to the enemy's island and his AA will open up on you.
For use with the late 2003 RC updates.
Unzip Leadspitter's excellent P-51 skin and place it in the P-51D-5 folder. This is the skin the mission will call for as its default.
Place the .mis and .properties files in the Missions\Net\coop\1 folder.
