These are a couple of funfly strike/DF/intercept missions for 1-8 players. You can play them solo (in network play) if you wish, they are still good fun.
They are designed with a variety of Aircraft to fly including AI as well (no A10,wouldnt fit), primarily as simple Nav/radar practice or as a small squad co-op. They are not historic and maybe a couple of glaring anomolies with the placement of ground objects ie....2 of the same mobile radars in the same compound......makes the target easier to spot... :) Just check your payload before you fly.
I wanted to make some complex Co-ops especially for inter squad challenges but unfortunately the 64 k multiplay file limitation prevents this.

A10 Rapid Strike

**Overview**
A great opportunity has presented itself to us this morning...
Satellite photos have spotted a Russian SA-11 SAM site in a field 30km north of Evpatorija.
F16Cs from the 77th FW have been tasked with eliminating the SA-11 this morning at 0700; which opens up a rare chance for us mud-movers.
Last night, an MFR platoon spotted a pair of armored convoys heading south; intel assumes to a staging area in the west, for repair or resupply. With the cover of the SA-11 gone, and their forward airbases still not fully functional, we can wreak some havoc on their uncovered behinds.
**Plan**
Once the SA-11 has been disabled, the Russians will certainly put whatever fighters they have in the area on a Ground Alert Intercept basis.
When you reach the target area, expect some AAA or even mobile sams. After you clear it up, go to work on the two convoys, and do so quickly.
It should take the enemy at least 20 minutes to prep their interceptors, which most like will be Mig-23s. Their is a chance the Russians, worried that a large assault is underway, will scramble their Flankers in the south, but you should be well out of dodge by then...
NOTE: In addition to your mechanized targets, try and take out the bridge between Grishino and Vojkovo (45: 31'58 33:52'16)

SU33 Sudden Strike

**Overview**
Another chapter of the Turk-Russo war of 2006. This mission is a strike on a new Turkish forward airbase in the western crimean. Moscow has authorized the Admiral Kutsenov and your squadron to deploy to the area and begin attacking Turkish forces.
**Plan**
Using a low level ingress, disable the new Turkish FAB at Razdolnoye. Try and stay away from the mainland, as it is covered with SAM and GAI threats... A SU-39 will try and disable the airfields primary SAM defenses, but MANPADS and AAA may still be present.
Remember, this is an active airbase, there is no intel as to what traffic is expected at mission time."

Valley of Death

A-10_Valley_of_Death Made with Lock On v1.02
This is a stand alone mission for the A-10. Like the Trench Run of StarWars fame, you will have to navigate at full speed trough valleys to avoid destruction by Russian forces. The area is crawling with them both in the air and on the ground. Deviating from the waypoints will likely get you noticed and shot down. Likewise flying too high. It is easy to get into a "low energy state" so make sure your throttle is at MAX.
This mission is not classified. Do with it as you wish.
Low-end users go to the WEATHER tab and set clouds from 0-3, or turn them off altogether.

A10 SpecOps1

This campaign was made with v1.01 and was originally 10 missions. After v1.02, four of the missions were broken and had to be Omitted.
I may continue this campaign. (A-10 Spec-Ops2)
A six mission campaign designed to be challenging. -LABELS are OFF.
-F-10 map view is ON.
-Weather, turbulance, and failures are ON.
If you have a slow machine you may experience some lag, sorry. Don't ask for the password, my dog ate it!
